Lindsay Sasseville

Jewelry Designer, Knitter, Crafter.

Email Me

From a very young age, crafting has been my passion.  I started knitting and crocheting at about age 6.  Learning from my maternal grandmother while I visited her farm each spring break and summer vacation.  Being bored on rainy days led to my first pair of socks, and crocheted doilies, and Barbie clothes.

This passion grew over the years, and now its one of my larger hobbies, taking over my closet with yarn stash and fiber.  2011 I learned to spin, thanks to some wonderful lessons and help from others.  And 2012 brought in my newest crafty passion, and that is jewelry design.

Most of my crafting is done out of the need to keep my hands busy at all times.  I can't sit still while watching tv...lol.  I remember i used to marvel at my grandmother as she would rock in her chair staring at the tv while her hands were busy knitting.  "How can you do that without making a mistake grandma?" I would ask, her reply was " I have lots of practice! And someday you will to!"  And I guess I have reached her level of practice, because i too can now watch the tv while I knit!  Mind you they are not some extravagant lace project, but nevertheless, hats, blankets, my pile of Hexipuffs all get knitted while I watch tv.

As I said before Jewelry has become my newest addiction, I love creating and designing pieces for people, and even pieces for knitting, like stitch markers and shawl pins.  I have even been in some craft sales selling my pieces locally.

Please check out my events page to find out where you can come and purchase pieces for you and others!
