I am really enjoying knitting the Aestlight shawl. Its a great pattern set up, you knit the middle, and then pick up 2 sides and knit the "netting" area and then knit the border as you bind off your "netting" stitches. I have done a shawl very similar in design as this one, the previous shawl that I did was called the Ardor. The problem with the Ardor was no matter how many times I ripped out the "netting" section I couldn't get my stitches to be the same, every second row I had an extra stitch that I didn't know what to do with. And even though I wasn't the only one that I knew doing that shawl, and having the same issue as me, I couldn't find anything about it online. Nothing on Ravelry to indicate there was a problem with the pattern, so I fudged it to get it finished. Here is the Ardor below being blocked. Its a really nice shawl, made from Malibrigo Sock Yarn, which in my opinion shouldn't be used for socks...lol. Its so soft and squishy!
